Polysaccharide Storage Disease.
We have a filly who's recently been diagnosed with this problem. We have changed her diet drastically, but have kept her in work. I was wondering if anyone here has had experience with this in racehorses?

Oh, that article made me go all cold and teary...it's so good to know that there are people out there doing something. The yard I work in, we are so careful about rehoming our retired horses. I mean, we would rather just charge the current owner a reduced fee and keep the horse till a suitable home ...

For my nickel's worth - I've run 2yos with nominal success and also held back seemingly mature 3yos to fully mature and run as 4yos with similar results. lol...that's her name, a 2 year old filly by Joshua Dancer...now, the yard I work in so does not produce Juvie runners, but this filly, she's just magic, I backed her last September, and she was so easy, I had her backed and trotting in 2 weeks....she just took everything in her stride, literally......

yeah, well, kind of....he still has his moments, and you never really know, when he walks out his box if he's going to have a "good" or a "bad" day....lol, but at least he goes to work...mostly, there's certain openings on the tracks that he WONT go to without ALOT of persuasion...but, on the whole,...
