Merse, We feel very fortunate that we were able to bring him out West. We had a great year with him and there is no reason he won't continue his success. We had his full brother Polish Gift that got off to a great start with his first crop Multiple Stakes winner Margo's Gift. We lost Polish Gift so ...

What a day for a lot of people. What a day for Washington and Washington Breds. Bill I appreciate all your support for Polish Gift and letting everyone know what his breeding was going to bring to Washington. Very modest crop this year in regards to the type of mares bred and look what was created. ...

Diane, I have heard about that with the synthetic surfaces but I think it is still to early to tell, but there are a lot more people in the know out there than me on this subject. As for Trail City he did most all his earnings on the Turf yet his foals are doing it on all surfaces. About 1.2 million...

We have decided to stand Trail City for $1,200 Live Foal. We think this will be a great value for breeders in the NW. We will offer 10 free breedings to approved mares to encourage breeders since we are bringing him in so late.

Trail City

WAracefan, That is an interesting point and one we thought about as well when we aquired Trail City. If you dive into the numbers though out of his 1.4 million in Progeny earnings about 1.2 of that is on the dirt. Aren't all foals born and raised on the grass then trained for the dirt? I hope we can...

Influential Sires on racing

Take a look at the Thoroughbred Times this week and the Holiday Gift Guide. There is an ad in there for a poster that represents the Influential Sires on Racing. It takes 5 sire lines that are the most influencing on racing today. Very inexpensive for what you get and it looks to be very well done. ...

Very nice Bill. I saw the race as well and only hope she continues to move forward. That one in the oven by Polish Gift will be a fun one as well. If I have the time I want to go through and profile all the mares and their potential offspring to Polish Gift. I think the final count of mares bred to ...
