I wonder if that's what the average joe thinks the horses are thinking? Kinda scary, Huh? Especially when the article said "I could hear them and smell them, but someone put something on my face that only let me see straight ahead, so I had no idea who these guys were or where we were going," said ...

TJ....what I have been hearing is pretty much dead on to what you just said....however I hear barrel folks have all good things to say about the strip and I don't believe they are big Lasix users anyway. Your right about barrel racer's aren't big user's of Lasix. Why? They just won't buy one that h...

It's not that hard to turn around a OTT horse. Just takes time . Pull the racing slick's and throw them out in a big pasture to be a horse. Bring them back after a year, and pretend they're a 2 year old fat green broke horse that doesn't know squat. Just takes time and patience, you'll be rewa...

Hey, Shammy, can I cross post this? I'd like to put it on a barrel horse web site.

Do you know why barrel racers prefer to be cremated instead of buried? Ground is never good enough!

 Well, I guess everyone is as stumped as the Quarterhorse people.
The descripton show's up on European websites.

The best we can come up with is in Spanish, a sorrel horse is called "alazan". Not the same, but close.

I know i'm late to the party, Oh well. Here's my two cent's. 8) We fed Land O Lakes Mare and Foal. Purina bought that and they now market it as Purina 300. Same stuff and just as good. All of our broodies and babies did very well on it. We have one thoroughbred that would look like hell when she had...

Three S's. Shoot, Shovel and Shutup.

I'm sure glad that the only thing we have to contend with is an occasional possum, armadillo and snake. Oh, and the neighbor's pit mix dog's. But since we threatened to do the 3 S's...they don't show up.

OKay here was a thought that was just thrown in by a neighbor. Shaving the area of the horse where the wire touch it. Shaving his chest. Since the horses still have their winter coats on, would shaving help? K You don't need to shave the hair. Use your shedding/stripping tool and go to work on that...

Scoop Vessels

It's being reported on another website that Scoop Vessels has been killed in a plane crash en-route to fishing. Can anyone verify this? Do they have it confused with the plane accident in Alaska that killed Stevens?
