Natural horsemanship has worked wonders for me. The will learn respect and basic ground manners, and it is a lot easier than fighting with them.

horse feed

What is every body feeding their yearlings? There are so many brands of feed out there. I am currently feeding Purina's Equine Jr. Any body like another brand or formula better? How about harder keepers?
Just curious.

I don't want to become a trainer, I just was wondering the differences between the two. I figured this was the right place to ask.

Thoroughbred Trainers?

I was just wondering how hard it is to become a thoroughbred trainer? I am from the horse show world so I know nothing about the subject. I know there can be a lot of political garb that goes with the show horse world, and a thing that some like to call paying your dues. Does this exist in the racin...

Don't any of the owners have a say so about what meds and supplements are used on there horses? I don't think I would be to happy about haveing meds used on a horse that doesn't need them. I know some owners don't have a clue what a horse needs, but what about those that do?

I agree that the law is the best way to handle things. One good reason everyone needs to remember, is that if we break the law trying to punish the idiot that broke the law, we will be the one punished and then the other guy will sue you. I think the punishment needs to be a lot harsher for crimes a...

Has any one else heard this? I have seen a horse that was over at the knee, but his parents had straight legs....

Over At The Knee

Are there certain bloodlines that have a tendency for this? What are your opinions about a horses athletic ability and the predisposition for passing this on to their offspring?

Sport Horse Stallions

Hi, I'm a "newby" to this chat forum, but very interested in your topic discussions.

I have a question for everbody... What are your opinions of Houston a Seattle Slew son and his sport horse off spring? I have seen his name a number of times being the sire or grand sire of several sport horses.
