Their retirees are at OF. They put all/some of their farm up for sale last March.

Swain and Dumaani passed away in July.
Others at OF are Albertus Maximus, Kayrawan, Intidab, Mustanfar

Re: Just as predicted, HISA is a sorry expensive mess.

Bob isn't a first time offender though, is he? Bob's never accepted responsibility for anything that goes on in his shedrow, whether he knowingly allowed it to happen or not. Aren't trainers ultimately responsible for the horses in their care? All that aside, this was never going to work because sta...

Re: Taking Flight

I don't think it was a particularly fast track plus there were 20MPH winds pretty much all day. Only Authentic ran a faster mile and a quarter at Keeneland. Second fastest six furlongs in the history of the race behind Skip Away. The BC dirt mile time was 1:35.33, the classic was 1:34.53 The BC Spri...

Re: Practical Joke

He has 30 starters from 128 two year olds this year with 16 winners. Current year winners to starters is 15%. His first crop is doing well at age three but his top earner is Chocolate Gelato who just won the Frizette. I'm curious what kind of book he got this year, i know his sales average was very ...

Re: Taking Flight

I think he will continue to improve. His stride is so efficient that even if he bounces I highly doubt there's another horse who can beat him. We will see him next in the BC classic and then "knock wood" they run him again next year.

Re: Say bye to Ironicus?

Considering his claim to fame was a starter in the derby (Helium) it's not surprising. They don't seem to have a lot of success with their own or the Janney's colts they add to the roster. I still look back and wonder what else could have been if the Phipps had sought outside bloodlines years ago in...

That's great! I think the discounts are great whether you get them from the agent or from the farm.

Re: Dealing with big KY farms

Yes, that's what I did with the season I won. I wouldn't have done it otherwise. Good luck to you. I don't have my mare anymore but I know where almost all her foals are (one is deceased).

Re: Dealing with big KY farms

I had exactly one mare and never had a problem finding someone at the farms to talk to and bring out any stallion I wanted to see (even if I wasn't going to breed to them). I used the time to talk to them about my mare, explain what I was looking to do, the types of foals she was throwing and they w...

Yeah, hope they have the patience to deal with anything inbred to Storm Cat, especially a filly

Taking Flight

Flightline is poised for take off later today. As an aside, he got his name when he was 10 days old, I wonder if his breeders knew he was going to be special. Cheers to an exciting four year old campaign for this horse who is incredibly talented. If you haven't had a chance to watch his breezes, the...
