End of an era. My filly won the Mocassin S. there in 2011. Good times!

I own Kremlin Secretary's grandaughter "Gold Scammer". She has four foals to date, two are racing, one is stakes placed. Her two year old is in training and the yearling will go to the starting farm this month. Alas, she slipped her '12 Henny Hughes in late January, but she's in foal to Freud. I PM'...

I was so sorry to hear that Lucy passed. She was a great horseperson. Sometimes, I felt as if she were a "horse whisperer"....her intuition was uncanny. Lucy was somewhat of a mentor to me. I agree....a very impressive performance. I was cheering on Sweet Ducky (I own a 1/2 sister) who I was sure was going to get it, when out from the clouds came Dialed In. I think Zito has the real thing.

Heatseeker

I saw Heatseeker this past weekend and he looked very nice to me. Thoughts on his potential? I'm thinking of sending a mare (or two) of mine to him.

I have a feeling that this might be more than a "maintenance" issue. Seems to me that the entire format for the female family display has changed. No more listing of all progeny under each dam....only black type winners showing....and only for the first couple dams. I looked up a filly who's fourth ...

Agree with you Patuxet....on both observations....the performance of BB and the "peddling".
The colt looked a bit "green" coming down the stretch....sort of bounding happily along. Once he becomes more professional....well, watch out!!
