Her breeder still owns her, last I knew. He was the seller (she RNA'd) of her forestry filly at the 2012 WTBOA sale, caused quite a bit of drama, but that's a whole nother story

Thank you, although the info didn't help Kathy, it explains exactly what must have happened with a filly we lost last summer. Two severe nosebleeds from one side and then the final one where she bled out, all occurred within a months time. I had never heard of guttural pouch mycosis before. Thanks.

I LOVE body builder. I switched to MASS last year, but didn't like it nearly as well and have gone back to body builder. I feed what is called flax oil, but is really flax suspended in soybean oil to help balance the omegas. The body builder really give you that finished edge.

Everyone has given good advice. We had a bad bleeder a long time ago that nothing would fix. It was before clembuterol. Anyhow, we ended up adding shepard's purse (herb) to his feed and it actually worked. I hadn't heard of it before nor since, but for this particular horse it worked. You can buy it...

I went and saw Parker's Storm Cat two weeks ago and was very impressed. He's a good looking individual, very correct for a storm cat and good sized.

I got carried away bidding on line at Barretts a couple of years ago. I had enough money in the bank, but it was more than I had been approved to spend as I didn't plan on spending THAT much. I didn't get the mare, but the computer kept letting me bid even when I was beyond my anticipated credit so ...

I am so sorry for your tragedy, been there and done that, it's absolutely horrible. Take care of yourself, try to get some rest - a good glass of wine helps immensely. Know that the breeding industry is plauged with the highest of highs and the lowest of lows, it's not for the faint of heart, but th...

Part of the problem is that on your credit app you are required to put down how much money you expect to spend. So they call your bank and find out you have $50k in the account, there's no viable way to stop a person from bidding $75k or more. I really don't think there is a solution other than to h...
