Re: Bricks and Mortar

A shame he's off to Japan, but I'm sure he'll get lots of opportunity there.

There's always The Green Monkey to kick around some more in the 'failed' category. $16mil colt and I don't think he's thrown a stakes winner. I wonder if his progeny look as wonderful as he does. With Hartley et al standing him, perhaps they'll try to get some good lookers in the 2yo sales to breez...

So glad you got him back and were able to find a soft landing for him. What an incredible campaigner he's been!

Re: Keeneland November - anyone else do this?

Slightly off topic, but does anyone know why #53 (Paynter-Yankee Victoria) was run through twice? I saw the second time, somewhere in the 80's, and she only had one bid for 10k. What was the issue?

Re: Conformation

Good choice. When you're trying to figure out what you'll need to correct a foal's conformation issues before you've bought the broodmare or decided on a stallion, it's probably not a good sign.

Re: Noble Mission Throwing Some Bling

I thought so too, Cree. Lane's End posts a lot of neat pictures on Facebook. (The downside is that they don't always say who's who in the photos.)
