You know we do pretty well buying and selling warmbloods in my area. But I would not say ours are "bombproof" but god can they jump. I do agree that the better trained/shown they are the more we can get for them. Im a TB girl at heart, but after the last several years of riding and training warmbloo...

I personal love warmbloods. I infact have ridden several TB/WB crosses and find that they are the best of both worlds (for jumping). Right now i have a TB mare in foal to WB Stallion. To register the foal you have to get the mare approved and the foal. (this can be done at the same time for like $50...

I like this forum. There is alot of good information here. But I will say of all the forums I am a member of, this one has the most fights I have ever read. Despite that I think Roguelet runs a good forum. I think when things get out of hand those threads should be locked and/or deleted, and the peo...

Has anyone every been able to get duplicate papers from the Jockey Club? I have been told that it is possible, even talked to people who have seen such a thing. But when I called the Jockey club they said no way.

I assure you she will not go by the wayside after the birth. She will be loved cared for and feed till the day she passes. I still own my retired show horse as well. She is 20 also, I keep them both at a broodmare farm her in TX. I have become very good friends with the owner and under no circumstan...

Mount Gaylor has not had any registered Thoroughbred foals, so if the mare you have is Mount Gaylor they must have been non TB or unregistered. She shows no progeny in the APR. My horse was not breed to a TB therefore non of her foals would be registered. I too will not breed her to a TB, I want a ...

I tried a black light and a digital camera a couple days ago, they both did not work. What can I say tattoos really fade after 20 years or so!!!!! Those are both really great ideas but like I said the numbers I came up with what the Jockey Club called "not a workable number." I am sure that the lett...

Well thanks for the quick responses. Actually 1987 should start with a Q (I have another mare foaled in 1987 she starts with a Q, I have her papers). However the numbers are still fairly clear but the tattoo that I submitted to the Jockey club "is not a workable number." Im not sure what the APR is ...

Who is my Horse?
I recently acquired a horse. I took the horse because I has seen her show as a jumper a few years ago and fell in love. I was hoping that I could breed her and keep the baby for my own show horse. I was told that she is registered with the Jockey Club under the name Mount Gaylor by Coxs Ridge. I wen...
