there is only W in the Thoroughbred breed, they tested many of them and NO Sabino. Some people still write Sabino but it is not true and not right. I know this for sure as I am friends with one of the scientist of the recent research of the W gene.

There are splash White TBs in New Zealand. TCF bought one and imported her. If I recall well the name was Whatever.

Also Sabino does not exist in the TB breeding, all that White is coming from different numbered W genes.

I am sorry to say but the Colorworld Ranch horses carry the W20. I had mine tested and they all carry W20. What Moonlark is, is guaranteed one of the new W mutations. Silvery Moon run this afternoon at 2.15 pm and placed SECOND - only beaten by a neck!

Silvery Moon was put in a race much too hard for a first race, they should have started with an easier one and not just hopp into the step of a much more trained horse. After all he was just purchase some months ago.

I hope he gets another chance with a better fitting race.
