well it is 18 something hours now he is well oiled inside and I am just waiting. I slept in the barn, heard the most beautiful chorus of coyotes "singing". The weather is great and he slept like a log..got up at 7AM yawning...

thank you for all your comments. I feel much better then I did when I saw that plactic disapear into his mouth....my next mission will be checking under his tail frequently plus hunting for bits of yucky plastic in every poop in his pasture for next few days.....guess that load won't be organic to g...

thanks trackgal, I feel a bit better knowing they eat foreign objects like that and are OK, this QH colt is my husband's Christmas present I got him last year. He has always liked QHs saying my TBs are crazy.....but they sure never ate strange things ...

thanks gotpaints, my vet said it should be fine too, just to give him mineral oil. I just gave him bran mash with the oil in it...now I have to make sure he will eat it.....otherwise I am getting a big syringe and force it down his throat......

THANK YOU Larrygene, that is so far what everybody I managed to talk to said but I am still paranoid, haven't heard from the vet yet, my homeopath said the only case she knows was a big grocery bag and it had to be removed surgically........that is what happens when I have a bit money saved............

Hi, good for you! I have a 5yo gelding out of a Well Decorated mare, unfortunately I lost her two months ago. The gelding is a sweetheart, this girl I know is interested in him and would like to event to upper levels...so I am kind of interested if there are some good horses with similar bloodlines....
