LETTER I RECEIVED AFTER CONFRONTING THE AD. I can't believe that all of you have nothing else to do than to worry about an ad for some one who is trying to sell her mare. The mare is not misrepresented and if the owner used the picture of the stallion, it is because she doesn't have any of the mare....

I have a feeling after 60+ years they have cracked down a bit on naming horses that is what I have experenced anyway. Good luck though, doesn't hurt to try.

When naming foals for people, please check with the Jockey Club to see if the name has already been taken. The name CHANTEY cannot be used since another name very similar but spelled a bit differently is already in use. BRUSHSTROKE has the same problem. Many names that have been given are already ta...

I knew that picture looked familiar and sure enough I was right. That actually is SPECTACULAR BID himself, look at some old Bloodhorse stallion directories and you will see that is the pic they used for adverticing him ( without all the black of course )
