I am not sure that they have located the W gene for the Airdrie Apache bloodline. If they have, could you post what it is? It has been awhile since I contacted anyone about the dominant white gene and am actually out of the loop. Thanks!!!
Thanks, Gwen!!!! Today Wear the Mask ran again, an allowance at Beulah Park and placed 2nd. He really poured it on and came up from 4th place. I am pretty excited! The last Airdrie Apache/Ms Dubious son looks like he will be a runner!!!
I am waiting for pix from his owner, Megson Farm. Wear the Mask is the last direct son of Airdrie Apache. There will be no more direct Airdrie Apache progeny as my boy is enjoying retirement Thanks so much! We have big dreams for this boy!
Our home bred white thoroughbred colt, formerly Finale Mystique, now Wear the Mask, won his first race on March 1, 2014. He won by 7 lengths! We are so excited!
DL: Thanks! We are very excited. I cannot wait until the Devil His Due mare arrives. I am very excited at the prospect of breeding her to Apache. I think it will be a very nice cross.
Desert Oasis Sporthorses is pleased to announce the acquisition of two frame overo mares and a cremello stallion. All new acquisitiions should be here by summer of 2012. The stallion will go immediately into training to begin his show career in 2013. One of the frame mares may also go into training....
Congrats, Donna. I own a 5 year old daughter of Panoramic, PDF Silverlace (out of Airdria Lace). She is gorgeous and hoping to continue her in training in February 2012.
