Okay I'm gonna stick up for Giacomo (again  ) and Steppenwolfer while we're at it. Are they the most talented horses? No, they are both one dimensional and require a bit of help from the rest of the field to win, ... but both horses throw in their run every time and if things fall into place f...

and since I'm being pissy ... could we NOT have the "rest in peace sweet baby" comments added when a horse dies? That's just stupid. See only a puppy eater would say that    Seriously folks anybody who didn't think that horse was impressive today needs to have their head examined. C...

I think at this point with Five Star Day I'm on the fence. He's had a decent year on the track, but early yearling returns were soft compared to last year as were his 2yo returns. If after Keenland he gets his yearling median back up to $45,000, he'd be worth a look. This 2nd crop group is pretty we...

I think he's pretty risky in the ring. I'd look more breed to race with him unless they drop his fee a bit.

Coolmore and 8,000 foals. He's a solid sire. I was told they were possibly going to keep him around the same fee. I had hoped they might drop him a bit. He's not a go to sire for every mare, but if you've got one that fits him, you could do a lot worse.

Its really a mix of all three. You'll have some owners pushing really hard and its hard to cultivate clients so trainers do what they're told. Some trainers are too stupid to tell when a horse is sore and some just really don't care and then you've got the vets...ahhh the vets, backside vets in my e...

I was thinking it was a board bill dispute type thing and the mare was never reported as bred.

He's still intact. I'd imagine being a son of Mercedes Won doesn't help alot :D He is black and looks alot like daddy although I doubt he's as small.

Jordan,

You would have to get that list from whoever owned the stallion in 2002. The Jockey Club doesn't have a report that covers that information.

He's still at stud in Arkansas for a Private Fee at Lake Hamilton Equine Associates. The lady that originally had him I believe was getting out of the business, so he may have been in limbo for a few years. I've been watching him a bit since daddy came to live at my school
