Mule Hoof

We have a horse with a "mule hoof" on her right front. Shoeing seems to cause a little pain. Vet has looked at her and foot is fine. It could be the nails. We may try some glue on shoes or an orthopedic shoe. Having a second farrier take a look tomorrow too. Any suggestions??

Re: Louisiana State Racing Commission defers renewal of 10-y

I must say that the timing of his accidental death and the number of bills currently being put forth in the legislature, does make one pause and think.

When the story is on AM drive time talk radio, you know it has the interest of the community. I am all for ...

We were able to acquire a La-bred 2 yo, but we are also currently looking for something running or very very close to running. We are kicking the tires on some possible claims, but would rather private purchase.

From my understanding, several owners and trainers have filed a lawsuit against the Louisiana Racing Commission. The Racing Commission falls under the authority of the State Commerce Division of state government. This is all being brought about because of the actions of one vet at Evangeline Downs d...

Looking for a 2yo or 3yo unraced Louisiana-bred

I am looking for a 2yo or 3yo unraced accredited Louisiana-bred that we can develop for racing. Not broken is ok. We are looking for reasonably priced prospects. :) A producing mare is desirable, but not required. A filly is desired, but will look at colts or geldings too. Not looking to buy a futur...
