Trying to find a Mare

Can anyone help me. I am trying to find a mare I had a few years ago. Her name was Pining. I sold her to someone in the business and haven't seen anything about her since then. I heard through the grapevine he no longer has her but didn't say where it went. I don't think he ever bred her. Any sugges...

Re: EQB's Published Heart Study a Wake-up Call for Believers

Hi David, I read your post on EQB and I was just wondering what part of the business you were in, (Bloodstock agent, breeder, racing etc.)? I ask because it was the longest post I ever saw on here and written in a way that does not seem like it comes from someone who would normally post on this boar...

Re: Gr I Kentucky Derby

Hi Cree and TJ,

I always appreciate reading your picks and insights. I am a little surprised that AP was not in either of your picks.

I had a Warriors Reward colt last night so I hope Tencendur makes his dad proud.

Re: EQB bloodstock agents have 20% of Derby entrants

Hi Da Hossman, Yes probably since AP was a homebred there was more than one agent giving advice. From their website, EQB is involved in a lot more than heart scans. Fatigue curves, gait analysis, cardiovascular analysis, conformation etc. They have some interesting studies that were published. If th...

EQB bloodstock agents have 20% of Derby entrants

"Here is an interesting common thread among 4 of the derby entries. It appears Mr Zayat and the Ramsey's both use EQB bloodstock agents and from the entrants they seem to know what they are doing. 170 C MALIBU MOON STORMY BEAR MAYNARD FARM AGENT ZAYAT STABLES/ EQB, AGENT $135,000113 Photo 113 C...

Breeding advice needed

I know some of you love to think through matings and I was hoping to get some of your opinions on a new mare I bought last year. Her name is Tapit Precious, 3 yo. She is currently in foal to Dunkirk. I am looking to stay around 10-15K. Obviously I would take a higher stud fee if they would come down...

A friend of mine has the special honor of working with Mid Atlantic Horse Rescue (MAHR) to compete in the Americas Most Wanted TB challenge. MAHR was one of only a handful to be invited to partici...

Just wondering if anyone is using Quickbooks for their breeding operation. Seems to be a pretty good program. Looking to get some insight.

I watched the replay of the Fountain of Youth (gr. II). Great race between General A Rod and Wildcat Red. I have one booked to Roman Ruler so I am a little biased and hope he moves on.

Would you breed to a stallion who had basket surgery? Is there a likelihood that something might get passed down to his progeny? What questions do I need to ask?
