Thanks. She is a really gorgeous mare. If I was breeding TB's I would keep her, but I don't.

Pass the word on her, as I know she is negotiable on price for sure.

Lovely thoroughbred mare by Gentleman (ARG)

Thequeenismean AKA "Queen" is an attractive mare that is a proven broodmare (approved RPSI for breeding). She is 16+hh, and broke for an experienced rider. She belongs to a friend, but I would be willing to offer a breeding to Duckhorn to help get her into a good home. She had an Oldenburg colt in 2...

So we connected the new mare with my filly this afternoon and boom she was elated; started licking her etc. Allowed her to nurse immediately. So it looks like we found a good mom for my filly. I'll take some new pics next week and post on the foal site. Maybe I'm just getting old and sentimental, b...

Thanks KBEquine! As usual, you are a wealth of good information. I think Duckie is actually on the "Current Stallion" roster page at Xanthus...I own him in partnership with barbara Rickline, but he will be here with me permanently so I can move him more towards the sporthorse disciplines. Like Ben, ...

I am sure you guys more about the racing side of things than I do, but from what I understand, he produces large foals, that mature late, and most people just don't want to wait to start them. I am not sure that's accurate, though, since I've only had him a year, and that year has been focued on ret...

I have not been happy with uship simply because you cannot commhnicate directly with the service provider prior to booking. That totally freaks me out.

I DO like travelinghorse.com. You post your haul, and usually within 24 hours you will have several bids directly from the shipper.

I've always been involved in the "english" disciplines, but I've always referred to a chestnut as a chestnut. I never even heard of the term "sorrel" until about 1999, when I started hanging out on horse forums on the internet and boarded at a primarily western barn.

You and your Mountaineer trips! LOL!

Since *I* already have one new stallion coming this way, you'll have to bring him home for yourself! ;)

I like his color a lot. :) He just wasn't what I was looking for for myself, and I am afraid he won't hold up to retraining and competition later on, even non-racing. But the owner was very upfront and honest, and willing to take extra photos, etc. when I spoke with her. The client I was looking for...

Description at top says gelding, but I am pretty positive he's still intact (he was as of last week).
