HORSES PEAK AND THEN THEY TAIL OFF. WHEN THEY TAIL OFF THEY SHOULD be given a little time off to rest and recharge and then the trainer will bring him back to peak form. imawild has never had that break. i saw him run at tampa and the stable had about 15 "guests". it was obvious to me that they were...

Thought his idiot trainer would see the light and give him some time off after his disaster race at Belmont. But no, i just noticed another workout. Look for him in the entries soon.

BB wasn't fresh. He peaked at the Preakness. He raced 3 times in 7 months prior to the Derby. Then he was asked to run 3 races in 5 weeks with little training. No way was he fit and ready for the mile and a half Belmont. In his 5F work at Bel every fraction was slower than the last and he pulled up ...

I like Nick, but I think that was just a PC comment. Don't believe he believes that for a second.

Could be. But if he came back late summer, had an impressive prep or 2, it would make the BC Classic even better. I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss him. It was just 1 race. Remember after the Preakness he was considered the best horse in the world. lets not bandwagon on and off just because of 1 race.

I agree. It would mean the greedy owners/breeders would care about the sport and the fans. Only Jackson seems to care, which is why I'm rooting for Curlin every time he runs.

I HOPE YOU'RE RIGHT. we're going and a BB/Curlin/Casino Drive Classic would be to die for.

he was throwing his head around from the start. acted up in his stall too. he just didn't want to run today. we'll never really know y because BB can't tell us. He might have gotten kicked in the front legs going into the first turn too. very erratic body language from him the whole day.

I agree with u 100%. But u forgot to mention that this moron has kept the horse in training for over a year. Hasn't turned him out at all. No rest. Using him like a machine. I saw him at Tampa Bay this spring. His connections had a pretty big guest (investors) group. These losers r using him to brin...
