Re: California Chrome Headed to Royal Ascot

One may have to ask what is the targeted objective of running him in such a varied ensemble of races, countries and circumstances without having yet achieved a paradigmatic victory. Is it meritorious enough for his already achieved status to put himself on the line like that? No one would like to wi...

UNFETTERED -- A hidden gem!

UNFETTERED (gr/ro H 2010) http://www.pedigreequery.com/unfettered2 The more this horse late-develops the more he is unfolding as a hidden gem. Re: Firing Line

This year Triple Crown series
makes me remember the
1969 series where two dominant
horses led the way to several other
also formidable contenders.

Dortmund (Majestic Prince?)
Firing Line (Arts and Letters?)
Carpe Diem (Top Knight?)
American Pharoah (Al Hattab?)
Internatinal Star (Dike?)

Re: RIP Allen Jerkens

Mahubah,

Thanks for posting this reference on the passing of Allen Jerkens.
Being a super-favorite beater was a better description of his achievements
than any other more dramatic title. But those achievements were legendary indeed.
May his soul be Blessed and rest in peace.
Thanks again.
