HIGH BRITE mares
i've not researched it, but does it seem to anyone that High Brite is on his way to being somewhat of a broodmare sire?

cuts
most likely just bad racing luck......? Yes, when in tight quarters you can clip heels, catch another one's legs, it happens. These can also occur in the starting gate. I'm curious to know the specific areas. Sometimes bad conformation or soreness can cause horses to hit. I noticed you're up in Wash...

spirits
i had a feeling my post would strike a nerve...it should. I will admit i was borderline pissed off when i read some of the posts. between the two
if you i had to make a choice only between the two trainers. Patterson would be my choice hands down. I'm a trainer in the Bay Area for 20+ years and have seen both of your "candidates" work/results. I know both only professionally, so i don't have any prejudices either way. Patterson has the advant...

spirits
Spirits have been used on the track for longer than you can imagine.....lol The people think it's a practice used by scoundrels to somehow manipulate races at the risk of hurting the horse, have no clue about training racehorses. They'd better learn a little before rushing to judgement. Before Lasix...
