Isn't there a form that you fill out before the sale saying you the owner want all the proceeds after the sale. And you will pay the agent after you get paid. That is what I always do.

Sorry to hear about your foal  Do you mind sharing what happened? Roar is California's leading sire right now, and I am sure you didn't pay a $15,000 stud fee. so if it looks really good that was a good choice. I heard he was hit and miss in the breeding shed, so I personally wouldn't go to him...

My favorites are Art Sherman, John Anderson, Cliff Delima, John Martin, Allen Severinson. I know there are many others just can't think of them right now. These are honest people who will take good care of your horse. Not that others won't. I just know them personally

Well Michael I have to agree with you on that one. I have felt the same way about " fixing " crooked legs on foals. I sure do not want to be the one who buys a broodmare prospect who had this done and she consistantly throws crooked foals and I can't figure out why :(

I never did like that quote. " You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink "

The way I look at it is, WHERE THERE IS A WILL THERE IS A WAY. Just have to figure out what will work. Never had a horse problem I couldn't solve !

Put enough salt in his feed he will drink.

Well he isn't exactly free, I worked out a deal which is none of your business and it is to my advantage. Being small didn't hurt BARTOK any. They sold pretty well and could run. I am sure so will Skimmings. One hundred breeders ( average book ) a year can't all be wrong. Northern Dancer was small o...

Well according to Fos and Halo my point was well stated. Too many crooked horses could run and produce. SKIMMING could run and not only that he had speed and could carry it. Thats what I like about him. He comes from a very good family top and bottom. And to top it all off I get to breed to him for ...

My understanding from what Deana said was out of all the horses in the American Derby stable she could pick eight of those. She said she didn't have Avenueofknowledge on that list but was going to change it and put him on it. My problem was weren't they ALL geldings ? There isn't much value in geldi...

You're right BJ he is small :( I have seen him in person. But I have seen many of his foals all different sizes, most all having nice legs. So I am thinking he doesn't stamp his foals as much as the mares do. My mare throws very tall, correct and pretty babies. Thanks for the imput but I'm not worri...
