First post in years. Saw the race. What a tough beat. She ran too good to lose.. Nice little mare with a big heart..

Quite a few lightly raced horses in this one. Can't count out Baffert and those Midnight Lute's. I will be watching Jeff Bonde's horse. Mudflats is the most seasoned horse. I think he's the one to beat. Don't know what to do with the Sunland based horses. They are nice bred and plenty of seasoning..

Who is the Graded Stakes horse and other winners you are responsible for breeding? And do you own or race any horses?

Dub, there is no question what you say is true, but culling mares simply will not put you in the black. The economics is such that the only way you can sustain in the game is with a stakes horse. Stan, Bode was a stone cold front runner. I think this horse will relax and sit off horses. He has such an efficient stride and does it so easily-his cruising speed so very high; he finds himself on the lead before he knows it.
