Something interesting to point out: while inbreeding to Vice Regent has not produced any graded stakes winners, crossing Vice Regent on his full brother, Viceregal, has produced Gr 1 winners Round Pond and Scotzanna, as well as Gr 2 winner Gentleman Beau, and Gr 3 winner Except for Wanda. Thought t...

He last ran on 6/24/05 in the 5th at FMT. He did not fair too well, running 9th by 35 lengths in a $4,000 claiming race.

That is in fact what I am looking for. Didn't know I'd find a stallion owner posting. Cool. WOW! I just found another... Unbridled is inbred to both parents of Dr. Fager. I own the book rights to this new theory. And I am starting a new consulting business that will help stallion owners find mares t...

Inbreeding to Somethingroyal & Bold Ruler

In my limited research, I've noticed that inbreeding to Somethingroyal has produced extraordinary results. Weekend Surprise is the best example I can point to. Dam of Summer Squall, A P Indy, Honor Grades, Tiger Ridge and Welcome Surprise. But what I really noticed is that when you add the additiona...

Scarlett:
The quick answer is not to breed her. She doesn't have a great pedigree, she raced at the lower levels of horse racing. Enjoy riding her and look for another mare if you want to breed.

The truth is I am the owner of hip 98 Natalia, so I probably will go. This is my 1st sale (with something in it) and I am as excited as I was the day of my 1st race.

Look, I'm not trying to be mean, but why do you want to bother these people? I know him, and maybe he claimed a bad horse. Do you really think he wants to tell you exactly what is wrong with the horse? If it is bad, he will drop and hope someone thinks he is stealing a race and claim it. If it isn't...

I just checked my racing database and this horse ran 4 times. So yes, she is registered. She couldn't run a lick! She earned less than $1,000 lifetime. Four starts, with the following results. 8th by 68 DNF 6th by 31 10th by 44 The best line in the ad: "I would consider trading for a truck." You'd d...

It seems to me that the horse is registered. According to the Breeders' Cup web site, she is Breeders' Cup eligible. How could she be nominated to the Breeders' Cup without being registered????

Thanks for responding with your thoughts. We have a nice maiden mare who has tremendous upside, and we would like to keep her for as long as possible. This might be the way to go.

Foal Sharing

Can someone let me know how common it is to foal share and some of the rules or typical arraingements. I have a mare that has never been bred and I'd like to keep her but share the risk her 1st year.
