The quick answer is not to breed her. She doesn't have a great pedigree, she raced at the lower levels of horse racing. Enjoy riding her and look for another mare if you want to breed.

The truth is I am the owner of hip 98 Natalia, so I probably will go. This is my 1st sale (with something in it) and I am as excited as I was the day of my 1st race.

It seems to me that the horse is registered. According to the Breeders' Cup web site, she is Breeders' Cup eligible. How could she be nominated to the Breeders' Cup without being registered????

Thanks for responding with your thoughts. We have a nice maiden mare who has tremendous upside, and we would like to keep her for as long as possible. This might be the way to go.

Can someone let me know how common it is to foal share and some of the rules or typical arraingements. I have a mare that has never been bred and I'd like to keep her but share the risk her 1st year.
