Re: I'm finally a part owner

Scratched...but due to spparent stomach-ache rather than post position. Gary really wanted to try turf. Theythink he'll be fine, but I'm nervous till I get confrmation. In the meantime, my disappointed daughter Rachael wrote this with very little help from me: "Oh, that's OK" the trainer ...

Omega Code?

Anyone know why his PQ page says something about selling at KEENOV 2015? He's not listed, nor is he a sire or covering sire.

I was rather fond of him when he was racing. I don't want to just go into his page and erase things that I don't have knowledge of.

Re: Eltish mare w/foal, Dixieland Band mare w/foal

Update on FB this morning says that both TB mares and foals have been bailed out:

You'll have to scroll down about halfway and open up a reply thread to see the name of the person that now has all 4 of the horses.

Re: Tail-wringing--possible to feel?

Can't speak for the jockeys, but I could feel it when my bullheaded old alpha QH mare would do it. I could talk her into anything at home, but getting on her at a show was asking for a fight. There was a very distinctive back-end twitch that I could feel in addition to the mounting tension in her mo...

Re: Sabino and rabicano TB?

Saw this guy on my Twitter feed. This is about as close to an Appaloosa pattern as I've ever seen in a TB. I can't even throw an educated guess as to what's going on here. His name is Buchiko, a 2-yo colt by King Kamehameha out of Shirayukihime (Sunday Silence). PQ says the dam is DW. The matching j...

It's hip 690, not 650. Dam is an Unbridled's Song mare out of a Maria's Mon mare.

It's a filly by Exceed and Excel, and from the pictures I've seen, she has her momma's hind end :) I don't know enough about Australian pedigrees to comment on Exceed and Excel.

Re: "This is the Cowards Way Out"

And then Costas asks Mr Evans what he feels about winning in a " coward's" way. Thankfully Mr Evans declined to answer such useless commentary, and this is in the winner's ceremony. What the hell happened ? Hence the reason I watch all hockey and football games televised by NBC on mute. I...

Re: Intense Holiday

In the last part he seems to be off. Crossfiring is always an bad sign. No doubt about that. Thanks for the video. Hi Ben, You're welcome, glad you saw it...sometimes I see things:>) Though this was pretty visible, as it was when he ducked in toward the rail in the Louisiana Derby....he was totally...
