I like Tonalist but given the sealed track today, I think you need to look at who may move up in the slop, Viva Majorca perhaps, should the track not dry out. Kid Cruz keeps on flying late for pay checks and will have pace to run after. Very excited to see how this plays out.

Did I read correctly that most of his training pre Derby was at Los Alamitos prior to shipping to KY? How would you characterize that surface for those who know?

Just found his listing on Another Chance for Horses website and he is listed as pending to the Exceller Fund. Fingers crossed that changes to placed. He is gorgeous and moves nicely on video.

Is it Halo or is Northern Taste perhaps passing along a mutation or the combo of the two together? Northern Taste is rather flashy...his face reminds me of Carnivalay. And just like the Halo bloodline, Northern Taste is pretty prominent in the Japanese pedigrees.

Kimberlymine, my friends and I noted the past two years at Arlington Million that the Kittens Joys move up on wet tracks...she is a good filly and held true to that form today.Gutsy, gutsy run down the stretch. I hope we get to see her this year at the Million!

Airdrie Apache really should have been given the chance to race, at least in Texas. He was one of the best racing bred colored TBs out there. Naevus was one of the best sires Texas ever saw and the dam side didn't look too shabby for local running. I guess this is where the bias against color reall...

In NY, I also like Alphabet Soup, as well as, Pollards Vision ($5k stud fee), Disco Rico(love his dam line and he was MD Champion sprinter who is siring sprinters), Catienus, Touch Gold, and Bob and John. Yes, he did end up as army remount stallion. Would think any descendants would be rare indeed.
