Hi Smartyslew I rate Belvin as a (C) I rate Verrazano at (BMinus) General Election is very interesting. I rate him as (A++) We'll see if they have the talent to go along with their pedigrees (General Election is now on my watch list, thank you for bringing him to my attention). Bill bill, belvin ra...

Re: Derby start bill,

Here's an early look at a few Derby possibles, and my evaluation of their potential to get the Derby distance (based on my Modern Conduit Mare Profiles). I haven't gone into racing ability or connections as yet, this is just an opinion of distance aptitude. I have done pretty well over the years us...

jeff the gsv scores have changed a lot in the last 5 years. notably the first, second and third crop sires of 5 years ago. they start with a grasp score of 27 before their first crop and the good ones go up and the bad ones don't move. the older sires have had 5 more crops to score and that can chang...

jeff,i don't think george smith has updated his gsv scores on the pedigree forum since 2007 if they are the ones you are using. if you are using the up to date scores from his site or purchased them from him then you are ok No Tappiano, you got it wrong. But since you'r here, I'll just assume you wa...

Re: mr. prospector to Nasrullah line dams

I am not sure why you picked the Mr. Prospector/Nasrullah pattern. As far as I could see ONLY one Derby winner ever carried that pattern above and that was Funny Cide. Even if you include all RAN sire line horses you only get three Derby winners with RAN/Nasrullah and they are Funny Cide and Alyshe...

family 23-b

This is one of the greatest mare families in US History. It stems here from the UK import in about 1830, Gallopade, and her great daughters. The family begins with a British mare, but has no presence at all except from Gallopade in North America. I know it's the family of Chris Evert and Tim Tam. d...
