Just thought I'd update - Bloodhorse reported that she's in foal w/ another Street Cry filly & Moreno called her 2010 version 'incredible.'

Thank you LB, I hope she's just like her 1/2 sister Rags to Riches.

Given how famous she is, I assume it'll be reported if she delivers a healthy foal. Her last foal was Arco Felice by Giants Causeway in '07. She lost her AP Indy foal late in term in '08. She was barren in '09, although one article reported she'd been bred to both AP Indy and Distorted Humor in '08....

why no news - better than honour's filly?

She was anounced in foal w/ a filly to Street Cry quite some time ago w/ a due date of April or May (news reports differed) - it's almost June and no news, is this normal?

Would someone mind explaining to me (casual fan) what 'not handling' the surface means? There was reference after the Oaks about her stride - can someone fill me in on what they're talking about, she is physically bigger than MTB, so doesn't the length of her stride have something to do w/ that? thx.

Point Ashley (2004) sold '07 for 1.8 mil. Now in foal to distorted humor - I'll guess $3 mil Madcap Escapade (2001) sold '06 for $6 mil. Now in foal to AP Indy - I'll guess $5 mil Better than Honour (1996) sold '97 as yearling $750,000 to Waxman sold '99 to Sikura (Hill N Dale) sold '01 by Sikura to...

Her two yr old by Giant's Causeway, Man of Iron, debuts tomarrow in Ireland, btw.
I see they tried her w/ Distorted Humor, wonder if they'll go back to him.

Bloodhorse reported that 'he burned a little bit (behind)' but Dutrow said it wasn't a problem. Tiz, re: rooting for CD since last summer - actually I was rooting for Better than Honour's next offspring - didn't really think he'd be in any of the triple crown races, as he was in Japan - hoped he'd w...

I've been rooting for Casino Drive to win the Belmont since last summer, so it's hard to switch horses now. I also really don't like that BB's being hustled off to the breeders shed so early. How can the general public come to know, root for and love a horse when he disappears so fast? I think this ...

Oops on Teeming, thx xfactor (note to self, don't type late @ night, no matter how excited you are about Casino Drive.)
Wonder if they'll ever send her back to a Mr. P line stallion. I read she was going back to AP Indy this year, but why not Distorted Humor @ some point?

Thought I'd bump this - after Rags won the Belmont last year, I became very interested in her dam - and I knew Casino Drive was in Japan and was thrilled when he won in his maiden there, and now that he's pointing to the Belmont - whoopee! An update: Teeming had a 2007 storm cat filly - named Cascad...

Don't know anything about racing in Japan, but beating his opposition by 12 lengths w/ a hand ride seems pretty exciting to me. How cool would it be if Better than Honour had 3 belmont winners in a row? Anyone know anything about her 2 yr old and yrling s? I read she aborted her APIndy colt this yr..

I am a long time lurker who enjoys the info. and insight this site has offered thru' the last couple of years. I'm not in the business and don't know enough to post, except the occasional question. I used to see a long thread and think, wow, I'll learn alot about this sire line or that blue hen or w...

Better than Honour progeny

Any thoughts about the whys of which sires Better than Honor (1996) has been bred to? What I've gleaned from other posts and pedigree query: 2001 Teeming, filly by storm cat, 4 starts, 3 wins injured in stall, no progeny 2002 Magnificent Honour, filly by AP Indy, unraced, no progeny 2003 Jazil, colt...
