Re: George William Smith--site is gone

Isn't that the guy we caught falsifying his data many years ago?

Re: Looking for a Trainer at Woodbine

I don't know how chummy (with the trainer, or you) we need to be in order to make a recommendation, but I would consider Lorne Richards, who has trained at WO since 2001 after relocating from western Canada. I have followed his progress from afar for nearly two decades and I never notice any reason ...

Jockey Dan Kistler will turn 70 in about 5 weeks, and he was riding today at Great Falls:

Re: Oldest jockey

On YouTube there is a clip implying that Amonte was trying to make the Guinness Book of World Records as the "oldest jockey to win a T'bred horse race" as of 2008, so that may afford some idea as to how old he needed to be. Unfortunately, Amonte hadn't won a single race since 2005. Now the...

If they can pull off this Derby win, after an eight-week layoff, it would be the first time since 1915 when Regret, the first filly to win the Kentucky Derby, did so in her 3YO debut (off nearly a 9 month layoff) What are you talking about? Sir Barton hadn't raced since September of the previous ye...

OK, but shouldn't your nickname be Forever Shergar ??

Everybody knows that Shergar himself never went to Idaho.

Re: synthetic tracks

Everything in your list looks in order. Now if only someone could devise a true "study" of breakdown data which appropriately factors-in the class of the horses and tracks involved, rather than just the poorly-conceived, blanket studies which would compare $50,000 purchases at Woodbine wit...

Re: lokking for help with open account - not usa citizen

I don't fully understand what you are asking. All I know is that brisnet is a safe, reputable website, AND that the odds/information under "supertote" is extremely similar to Twin Spires. So I suggest you just sign-up, and not worry about it. I use it nearly every day, and I've not spent a...

What about Brisnet?

Can you make it through their vast array of sign-up steps for non-US citizens?

At least try that one!

Re: Has anyone talked to Bill from WA?

I suspect that an interested party could derive his contact info from this website: http://www.soundpolitics.com/voterlookup.html There is one person listed who seems the right age, compared to a photo which results from googling billfromwa. Interested parties could derive his address and write to h...

Re: IS THERE ANYBODY HERE WHO WANTS TO RACE A HORSE ????????

Not very nice 23yo gelding out of a Buckfinder mare. He is by Compliance. He is a New York-bred who worked for eleven seasons on the track, doing very poorly. He (unlike Jose Herrera) needs no introduction, and, well, Jose Herrera was about as close as he ever got...
