When's American Lion's Next Race?

I'm wondering partly because I was a fan of his sire Tiznow, and partly because he has two really big VGSs close up in his pedigree.

I'm Launching a New Website

Hi All, I already have the Venturageoscore.com site for my writings on Horse Pedigrees, so I've decided to start a new Blog for my writings on other topics that are of interest to me. It's called "Statsaholic", and focuses on reporting the results of my Statistical Research: http://www.statsaholic.b...

The nick between More Than Ready and Danzig appears to be more of a Danehill thing: More Than Ready/Danehill VGS = 10.8 (6 SWs) More Than Ready/Danzig (not Danehill) VGS = 3.5 (4 SWs) It's still a pretty good cross even with sources of Danzig other than Danehill, but much less good a cross than with...

I think I'd recommend breeding this mare to Malibu Moon . Malibu Moon has already sired a Stakes Winner from a Sea Hero mare, and this cross of Malibu Moon and Sea Hero gets a VGS of 212.9 based on 1 SW. This cross's success is backed up Malibu Moon's sire AP Indy getting a good VGS of 5.9 based on ...

Supernova, I don't know if he's quite in your price range, but I would highly recommend going with Proud Citizen . Proud Citizen has already produced his best runner, the Kentucky Oaks (G1) and Alabama (G1) Winner Proud Spell, from a Langfuhr mare. This success if backed up by the fact that Proud Ci...

George Smith once said somewhere that he noticed a pattern where colts that were trained by certain Trainers did worse at stud than you would've thought they would do based on their pedigrees and race records. He speculated that this was due to those trainers using PEDs, which made the Colts run bey...

Thanks FOS, When a mare or stallion owner hires me to provide a pedigree analysis report, I will include analysis regarding conformation issues so long as they are willing to provide me adequate information on the conformation of their horse. I am willing to admit, though, that I'm more of an expert...
