Clearly, subtlety isn't my style. Sylvie, I don't know why you can't actually POST a link to the ad that "some guy named Patrick" has already made public, because many people - including me - CAN read French but would prefer to know if Patrick's asking price is somewhere in the realm of reality befo...

I guess in Canada.. Thanks, I guess I was subtly (too subtly?) suggesting that if Sylvie wanted to help the owners place the mare, contact information or a link to a sale ad would help. Edited to add: Subtlety has never been my forte . . . I clearly did it wrong. Probably should have been edited to...

Since she has been a PA broodmare, she might be able to be advertised on the CANTER PA website. Also try contacting the owner of: http://www.leightonfarm.com/

Good luck.

But I do question hamstringing the entire football program and vacating all of the victories going back so many years. Can't they remove Paterno as the coach of record without erasing the players' hard work and effort somehow? It's not like the players were the ones guilty of misconduct. And why le...

She is an allowance-winning earner of $75k herself & is full to a stakes-placed mare, half to a producer of winners.

She certainly is a better broodmare prospect than a lot of mares.

Someone was looking for him on a different forum after he last raced. I don't know if that poster ever got information, or not:

Agreed - I looked at a mare in foal to Rimrod a couple years ago & when I looked him up, I was very impressed.

2006 mare from family of I'll Have Another

Not mine; they just share a 3rd dam. I saw her & thought I'd post: http://www.canterusa.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=5041:the-perfect-offer&catid=58:pa-trainer-listings She's one of those mares I'd want to see in person, but she intrigued me & if I was in the ...

Vintage (2001 model) stakeswinning earner of $813,953 [80 starts, 18-16-17] listed as free to a good home on craigslist. http://harrisburg.craigslist.org/grd/2993473489.html He does not appear to be in any danger - the ad mentions FTGH and an anti-slaughter/anti-auction contract & I think he is ...

He may not have a fan club, but he sure has fans - we had one of his daughters until we lost her 2 years ago. The orphan filly & her older 1/2 sister are still here & favorites, partly because he is a favorite.

If you are looking for a Pulpit son in the area, consider Ecclesiastic, a half brother to War Front, who I THINK is still in Pennsylvania. He does put nice-looking foals on the ground (although if you want to avoid turf, he might not fit your needs).

Anyone at Evangeline?

I am trying to track down a mare & her last trainer-of-record is running there right now. It is a long-shot, but I thought I'd ask.

Thanks

Owner/trainer Debbie Schaber is also the last owner/trainer of one of our TB stallions. Not a stakes horse, but with 135 starts, a worthwhile guy.

IMHO, she's got a good eye . . .
