It's just good All American Thoroughbred here!

Postby helen in FL » Wed Jan 02, 2008 6:13 pm

Went to visit the stud muffin today. Giving EVERYONE an attitude except for Mom (me). Very plainly asked him if he was being a pig, which is UNDERSTANDABLE with the 30* + 20mph wind daytime weather and 15* nighttime weather, anyone would have a hair up their butt... But no, stud muffin just stuffed his nose between the bars and said, "Kiss me Momma! I missed you!"

Here is the PERFECT example of WHY I love the American Thoroughbred!

Stud Muffin's name is Dantrick. I am VERY proud of him. Perfect first stallion for me.

Donna you are not kidding! The Gator game was held in Orlando yesterday and it was 75!!! NOT FAIR! But this weather always happens when storm blows through. The Muffin would hate the snow, he hasn't had to deal with it in years! Already throwing a fit about the cooler weather down here.

I could tell him next winter we can go to Wellie World if he gets his butt in order and can compete down there. He would be very happy then!

Yes, what is his name?
Is he about 16.3 hands?
He is spectacular, looks like a heavy WB stallion!
Do you sell any fillies for showing/breeding?
I know you are proud, I would be :D

Thank you, thank you! He is the apple of Mom's eye. Dan is just 16.2h and I thought the same as you Donna when I first saw him! No fillies yet, he was not bred to thoroughbred mares much or even really marketed with his last owner. I have to say he won't be really marketed even with me other than the normal exposure he'll get with a website, one or two ads a year, auction donations and of course showing with his Momma! Right now he's just being my pet horse until just after the pregnancy and my niece will most likely ride him in the jumpers for HITS if she comes down to Ocala this winter.
But until then my concentration is getting him in shape and finding mares for him for my program. I have a really good breeding lease for any mare owners who would be interested and I somehow managed to get a nice local following for him here in town. The second I mention Clever Trick and Tom Tulle you see eyeballs pop out of their sockets!
