I was really upset to hear of Larrygenes passing.
Even though I never met him I always liked his posts,He was very helpful in a lot of areas,he recently had a post on about vitamin D.
I was going to let him know how I made out taking it.He was even concerned, about what some folks would have thought was trivial. We have lost a great friend, hope his wife posts now and again and keeps us in touch.Funny I named My home bred mustangsammy,I will think of larrygene when he runs as I know from a previous poster he was kind to give a home to mustang jock.

All gave some,
some gave all
some gave all
I am very sad to hear of Larrygene's passing. He was a good fellow who had no problem standing up for his convictions. I did not personally know him but I think his words speak volumes about what a good and knowledgable man he was. Who ever said he's watching the greats race now..... well you can better believe it!! May he rest in peace.
trying to come up with something brillant..... this may take a while.

I've only been a poster on here for a short while but some of my first experiences involved larry's posts on certain subjests and they were always informative of his many years experience with racehorses in the US. Although i didnt neccesarily share his opinions having been brought up in the racing enviroment of the UK which is quite different to the US there were some things that I've taken from his posts and hope to learn from.
I did wonder why he suddenly dissapeard from the forum and i sadly assumed it was that he'd gone on holiday or something similair so i'm very sad to read of his passing.
RIP Larry I hope your horse do you proud as they race on

Yikes, I'm gone for a few days and come back to this. I want to add my (virtual) voice to the chorus in wishing my condolences. For the years I have vultured this board, larrygene's postings were among my favorites to read. I will truly miss him.
