My two favorites are THE ART & SCIENCE OF RACEHORSE TRAINING by Michael W. Marshall and RACING HORSES by Bill O'Gorman. Both of these books were inspired by their fathers.

Authorized Biography of Vincent O'Brien is on my list. Has anyone read this book?

I read the one by by Raymond Smith: ISBN 1-85227-143-4.

Very nice book, with lots of pictures.

For the ones amoung us who understand German, a book about the famous stud Schlenderhan is worth reading. Also with a lot of information and nice pictures.
The more I get to know people, the more I love animals.

My favorite Dick Francis books are Come to Grief and Hot Money. But like you, I love them all.

I can highly recommend the book, HORSES IN LIVING COLOR by Barbara Livingston. I received it as a Christmas gift--it is beautiful and mezmerizing!
