ITOBA'S got some kind of silliness going on..
Sent me a two page questionnaire with bus reply env back to Purdue, requiring literally my full financial statements for my farm!!! It is thinly disguised as some kind of research. I tore that insult up into pieces and roundfiled it. I wonder how many people are going to spend the time and resources to compile the numbers they are demanding.
So Run for the Roses, as fast as you can.....

Well YEAH like I'm not going to spend two or three days pulling numbers together for those jokers who have no right to ask for that kind of info.
Got a massive two year old filly who needs to be sold.. time to bring her in, pull her mane, trim her feet, and list her for sale.. half sister to G1 placed SUNDAY HOLIDAY. I'd rather spend two or three days on THAT project

Madelyn, I'm confused by something. Your post indicates that you received this survey from ITOBA. Yet, the one I received indicates that this is an "undertaking by the Indiana Horse Racing Commission, Indiana HBPA, Indiana Standardbred Association, ITOBA, Quarter Horse Racing Association of Indiana, Purdue University School of Veterninary Medicine, Purdue University Calumet Equine Business Management program and the USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service."
Why would you single out ITOBA for their silliness? All of these groups are paying Purdue University and the US Department of Agriculture to help determine the impact of the horse racing on the Indiana economy. Our legislators would like to see an updated economic impact study post-slot legislation. Doesn't seem silly to me.
