Jeff, I think that is a good idea. I do the same thing. My point in these discussions is that the methodology used in ALL commercial nicking products is highly flawed, leading to recommendations which are often counter-productive and misleading.

Your mare is a daughter of ALL GONE, whose daughters have yet to produce a stakes winner, as of 2011. However, she is a granddaughter of FAPPIANO, who is an excellent broodmare sire. I suggest you do a bit of pedigree homework by chasing down his stakes producing daughters and do a quick survey of what covering sires performed best with them. Then make a list of available stallions which might emulate these "nicks." You've just saved yourself hundreds of dollars.

The stats given for Nureyev over Sadlers Well's are completely wrong. The best Nureyev line stallion in Europe is Pivotal a son of Polar Falcon who is a son of Nureyev. In 2011 Pivotal sired dual Group 1 winner Immortal verse who is out of a Sadler's Wells mare. In addition in the past he has sired Group winners such as Emerald Commander and listed winner Nationalism out of Sadler's Wells mares.

In addition Pivotal's son Kyllachy has sired top sprinter Dim Sum who is out of an In the Wings (by Sadlers Wells) mare.

Stravinsky another son of Nureyev sired Group 1 winning sprinter Soldiers Tale who is out of a Batshoof (by Sadlers wells mare). In addition he sired outstanding Australian filly Serenade Rose who is out a Sadlers wells mare.
In addition I'm sure there are plenty of other examples out there, if you care to do the research.
It might be the case that the stats you were given exclude European and other racing jurisdictions but that really brings into question the value of the information being provided. Lies, damned lies and statistics!

The very first statement you make just shows that you have not a clue what you are talking about

If you look at the report you have generated you will see that there are 44 runners by Theatrical and his sons out of Sadler's Wells line mares and NONE are stakes winners. So the combination of Nureyev and Sadler's Wells is NOT a powerful nick 'irrespective of which positions these stallions appear in the pedigree.' The data is there. It has been tried 153 times and 44 of them have raced with ZERO becoming stakes winners. The data is telling you that in this case it is NOT a powerful cross.

Go back to trying to shuck horses for $60,000 that you bought for $5,000.
let me guess.. the correct breeding in this case is the 4 F champion sire forestry..

you might not agree with the OP but dude you don't have to be such a jerk about it.
