withdrawal time for lidocaine

after getting lidocaine prior to caslick proceedure how long before its out of the fillys system and she can race ?

It varies by jurisdiction. Ask your vet. If I were to guess I would say 10-14 days.

Like Laurie said, it may be that your jurisdiction is different. Your vet would know more.

Texas recommends 96 hrs min for an injection and 120 hours for topical administration. These are just guidelines. It may be longer, just ask Steve Assumsen.

Hi reenci,
Lidocaine W/D time varies from 48 hours to 7 days according to residual limits set by each jurisdiction. I would give it no less than 7 days. Personally I allow any jurisdictional set withdrawal times at least another 24-72 hours over what they recommend will clear the system. TJ

yea ask Asmussen about lidocaine and he will also tell you how to get out of that fine and also how to fire the vet who you told to give the lidocaine
