Oh, I hate it when they do that! This happens all the time turning into the farm - they just ignore the turn signal and try to pass. Amazing no one has been hit.
Friday the Thirteenth was rotten for me, too. Managed to get one horse with a severe cut to his stifle and had a mare colic. While checking on them had the joy of witnessing a drunk driver take out two front paddocks. Of course the driver had no insurance. Luckily the driver was okay and no horses were hurt, but we had a mess - she drove down a long section of fence prior to swerving into a field and taking out two more smaller sections before finally killing her car. A piece of fenceboard was actually impaled in the side of her car. We're lucky she wasn't hurt herself.
But, it was Smirnoff Green Apple, actually. She was drinking it straight from the bottle. I think that takes dedication.
