No his offspring have not been seized nor has at this stage the woman been charged.

due to "do gooders" supplying hay she then had complied to feeding the horses.. its sad that doing something good ended up being the worst thing that could be done. next stage of compliance was to worm the horses i dont know if that has happened at this stage.

I have heard there is a peaceful rally going on there at lunchtime today (sunday) so i dare say there will be more in the paper tomorrow

So what was her reasoning for not feeding them? Was she broke and couldn't afford it (because that's not exactly what it sounds like)?

Funny this subject should come up today, the AQHA magazine has a story of a brindle Quarter Horse this month. Beautiful animals.

He has yet to reproduce it too. Even when bred to another brindle. I think breeding for it is a MAJOR crapshoot. Kinda like your chances of winning the lottery?

I don't know which horse this is but many of the brindles are chimeras and thus will not pass on their color, they pass on one or the other color but not both. For the ones that do carry an actual gene it certainly is a crapshoot not only for getting it but getting it expressed enough for it to be really noticeable.
