One hour to go folks.

The Sky coverage in Oz has just started, it is 11pm here.

Weather is fine and the track is good, just perfect for Takeover Target.

28 runners in the race can you believe it!!

That is the only concern for TT that there is the chance of interference from this massive field.

Here's hoping he won't get held up or strike any trouble in running.

The Queen is in royal blue for those who wondered.

TT has barrier 17 in the field of 28 so we will have to wait and see whether he comes down the grandstand side or the inside, as the field will definately spilt in two.

The main danger the commentators believe is La Cucaracha and Moss Vale.

TT is 5/2 fav in Oz.

So I excitedly turn on the tv to watch Ascot, and HRTV is showing replays of Bay Meadows and Thistledown, and TVG is showing an infomercial.

The best race meet in the world, and the two biggest American race channels act like it doesn't exist. What a joke!

After the first race it looks like the grandstand side is the place to be with the quinella both right up against the rail.

The wind is picking up as well down the straight and it looks like a tailwind which will be perfect for Takeover as he takes off in 20 mins!

TT is not favourite in the UK - he is out to 7-1.

Moss Vale, the local, is 6-1 fav.

They are moving into the barriers.
