Look into the eye of Abstract and then look into the eye of Pie Rise.

If they are father and daughter you will find the same eye patterns around the iris, as it is a sex linked pattern.

Just to clarify, Jordan's filly that he's getting typed is possibly by Abstract out of Pie Rise.
Jordan, I seem to remember in a previous thread that someone here looked into buying Pie Rise at a sale once. Try putting "Pie Rise" in the search function and see what comes up. Maybe you can PM the person.

Ummm, don't you have the phone number of Pie Rise's owner/previous owner? Seems like you should take that route, rather than posting these types of requests to a public forum.

Of the thousands of cheap mares in the country, what are the chances that someone on this list has seen this particular animal or has a photo of her Jordon? If someone HAD seen her I am sure they would have answered your first post .

Jordan,

Do you see that little foal to your left? He was born in February. That's some blaze, huh?

Now, his dam only has a little smudge of white on her nose, his sire only has a modest little stripe below his forlock. His white markings don't look anything like his sire or dam. That's common.

Pie Rise was plain. I could've looked at Pie Rise yesterday and not remembered today what she looked like, exactly. She was not unusually striking, big, or gorgeous. You know how you looked at all those horses at Beckner's Sunday? Times the amount of horses you looked at by ten, and that's about how many I saw last year at sale. Pie Rise was at auction three years ago. No one is going to remember what she looked like, and I think there are no more than 5 active members here who attend the Oregon sale.

I'd be willing to bet cash money that Pie Rise is NOT your filly's dam. Otherwise, I might have bought Pie Rise and I might have foaled out that filly. But the fact of the matter is, that year Pie Rise was left open, according to her then-owners. That is why there would also be no stallion service certificate.

If DNA proves Pie Rise to be the dam, I guess I owe you lunch at the track kitchen.

I PM'd you again regarding Pie Rise. Snap out of it and realize
that Pie Rise is not related to your filly. I actually have a photo of
Pie Rise, but you have been so resistant to acknowledge the intelligence of
all of us who have tried to give you information on your situation, I
will not bother to look for it.

There was a live foal reported in 2003 by Abstract out of Pie Rise.

Thanks!
