Jorge! Here's a pretty boy!
Lots of white markings in the OBSC August sale (of the photos shown) but this guy is the only one with a belly spot (well unless some have it on the other side!) http://www.obssales.com/augcatalog/2006/Aug264.html
Every mighty oak was once an acorn that stood its ground.
Dear Summerhorse,
Thank you very much for this valuable watch. His pedigree comes as no surprise for he is full of sabino sources. In short, every male within the first 5 removed is a sabino source or sabino-influenced source. No wonder this beautiful colt is flamboyant. I earnestly appreciate it.
Will also check case number 281.
Blessings,

I dunno, the actual spots on 270 looks quite possibly like a copper deficiency. Get some copper in that horse & those spots just might disappear. As for the rest of the colouring, that may or may not be adjusted by proper copper levels.
Jorge, I had posted one with possible light roaning on the hip over in the Sales forum this morning.

Personally speaking, I don't refer to it as "amazing". I refer to it as FRUSTRATING![]()

Oh yeah! for all the hype on how many flashy paints and white horses have been produced off SOLID TB mares by the sire of my 4-yr-old filly, breeding her flashy sabino mama to him produced - you guessed it! a nice solid chestnut, one short sock and a pretty star........
indeed! no more color experiments for us!
of course, the mare did finally throw a belly-speckled white-faced shaded bay sabino, with brindle stripes on his chest, no less - but to the cover of a black Registered Irish Draught! ...... sigh.....
