Forli and Wobblers

Is it true that Forli was known to throw offspring afflicted with Wobblers?

I am not sure about Forli but I do know Seattle Slew line carries the Wobbler gene. I had a very nice Matty G filly I bred who developed Wobblers after starting twice. She was totally sound of limb and only turned her out for some R and R. She literally developed an off hind end overnight.

Wobblers is an odd disease in that it may or may not ever manifest. The above filly was broke as a fall yearling, in training for over a year, starting twice at three, yet it was some sort of tweak while turned out in a pasture that set bone pressure to her spinal column ultimately ending her life.
