R.I.P. Pine Island

Postby Dreamstorm » Sat Nov 04, 2006 8:59 pm

It's sad to see another beautiful horse euthanized. I don't really know much about her, but she seemed spirited and had heart.

As soon as I heard that she went down, my jaw just dropped and for a moment I really couldn't think. It hit me hard when they showed her fall and as soon as I saw it, I kept praying that she would be alright and be able to live and be helped just like Barbaro.

She was a beauty in my eyes. And what a short life. Hopefully she had enjoyed her three years here. R.I.P. Beautiful.

She was just too big. That was very sad to watch. Can't believe they played the isolated replay twice.

Lots of pictures of her at horsephotos.com and finalturngallery.com

Yes, I agree. It was sad to watch and it almost felt like my heart was ripping from my chest. Like I stated before, I didn't know her, but she still impressed me when I did see her. It was mainly just the fact that another beautiful animal had died.

Yeah, once was enough. I highly doubt the owner's wished to keep seeing that scene repeating over and over.

Thanks for letting me know where I can find photos of her. You are a dear. :)
