OT- Need a name for the puppy!

Postby Arctic Cielo » Thu Nov 30, 2006 1:20 pm

I bought this basset hound puppy for my husband at the Shipshewana horse sale last week. I need a name! We've come up with all the perfect boy names but we need a more feminine name for her. She's very lazy and loves to play with my cats. Thanks for any suggestions.

When we discovered my "she" kitten was a "he" we had to abandon Chloe for Sebastian. Perhaps you might like to make use of our old one. :) I hate that it was all for naught.

Perhaps Sophie. I was reading about Appealing Zophie and it made me think of that.

sorry, but with that face in the picture, I'd have to call her Smooch.

GREAT dog.

Ears? I understand that bassets stand on and trip over their ears a lot.

Don't send in the papers yet--give it a month or two and survery the damage--you might want to name her "Regret!"

Just kidding, she is a cutie :D I love puppies, especially when they belong to someone else!

Seriously, I vote for Kitty or, for some reason for this little one in the pic, I keep thinking Birdie.

Aww Birdie's cute. Regret...that's funny.

Belle from Beauty and the Beast is sweet and ironic. If I didn't normally avoid play on word names, I'd suggest "Woof" since she's no supermodel bless'er heart. 8)

I like Tessa B (I know you figured it out, Basset spelled backwards)
