$3,500 :?:

That's ambitious. Name me one other Pioneering at stud, let alone one that is worth anything? He certainly doesn't have much of a female family backing him up. I'm assuming that fee is based on what he thinks he can get just because the horse is white... except Arctic White is also in Kentucky (last I heard) and at about half the price. I dunno, I wouldn't expect a race horse from any of them, but if I were looking for a sporthorse sire, I'd probably go with the Roanoke son Bright White.

He's being advertised in sporthorse publications at $1,000.

I had also heard $1000.
You also now have Allamystique standing in TN for about $2500.

Wow, do you know that when I first saw the hypothetical mating bottom I first thought on the mare Toussaud!.

Bright White: Hmm, interesting suggestion.

Any other favorite white sire with its rationale from our other members?

It must be his whiteness. Race record is nothing and female family not that good. I don't think I would breed to him and there are many many horses with graded stakes records and good female families that are listed at lower stud fees.

Shoot, ya nearly could've claimed him for that! :D He was one stall down from one of our claimers, Jack.

See these beautiful recent photos of THE WHITE FOX, who will initiate his breeding career very soon (2008).

For now he represents the only available white sire coming from the strain of White Beauty (1963). Wish him the best.

He seems to have fairly decent conformation. And I like his breeding better.

I like his type better than most. Needs a leggier mare and better hocks from what I can see. Would love to see an A Fine Romance mare crossed with him and get a super eventer. He is significantly better than the other Hatchet Man bred white stallion out there.
Bright White in my opinion is the one white stallion who can bring most to the table. Decent jumper, good hunter type kids and of course comes from Puchi who is a great hunter sire. But I do like The White Fox!
