I remember seeing a stud ad for Tariat Dancer a while back online and was wondering if anyone knew who owned him currently and if he is standing at stud? I am interested in breeding to him this coming season.

Actually, er, I really think the link to that particular website is actually part of a on-line game. I'm not entirely sure (so you're welcome to toss bricks at me if I'm wrong, honest!) but it looks like this information is for sort of a cross between a roleplaying game and a "virtual" stable, I think... I was interested in the sabino link myself and the shows sounded a bit off to me...

I know the horse in question was brought up a while ago on another back-post... I think (don't quote me) that it might even be on the all-breed pedigree forum?

I lost track of this horse last year and can only pull up info on sym games on him. He does, however, have a half brother by Diogenes here in FL. I have not been able to find out if he will be standing publicly or not (haven't found contact for the new owners).

Tariat Dancer is actually a '96 model, they changed his birth year for use in the sim (the real TD is barely old enough to be a sire, never mind grandsire!).

If you are unable to find any leads on him, you may want to try contacting the player who 'owns' him in the sim - if those photos really ARE Tariat Dancer, the player would have had to get the owner's permission to use them (at least, that's what's supposed to happen! ). They might have contact info for the real deal.
