Texas Bred

Postby Igual79 » Wed Dec 08, 2004 9:13 pm

I am very much interested in Texas bred horses . Historical , present , I have done some research on King Ranch horses , Assualt , Middleground , I have a list can't think of them all . Groovy , Pan Zareta , Got Koko , Mocha Express , Yessirgeneralsir all are Texas bred . Jerry Bailey and Bill shoemaker are also from Texas . So anyone know of more important Texas breds ?

Igual, check out the website www.texasthoroughbred.com. There is a section currently there on Texas Champions from 1980-2003.

I have been there , not much info though . It isn't a very well set up site , but that is just me . And since it only goes back to 1980 it is limited . But thank you , it is a start .

I trust you have 1994 CCA Oaks winner Two Altazano on your list. Nice filly, that one.
