Here's some of the fun we had in town. Channel 7, the local idiots, staked out the waterfront all day. Never mind that the shark was out in between some of the islands, probably sickened and confused, stuck in a shallow inlet, waiting for high tide to get the dickens away from the powerboats and out to sea again, the nimrods with cameras were pointing themselves out into Vineyard sound. So a bunch of us figured we should help em out with a little local interest, and we decided to point. One of us gasped, and pointed. Oh, the cameras took it all in, then panned the sea. Then, another one clapped her hand to her mouth. We all followed suit, in horror. The cameras swung. They also came into the bar, where there were a bunch of people having a Great White burger and talking about the traffic congestion getting off the cape. The news lady talked into the camera about the local concerns about the shark. What a bunch of bazookas.

Hoo Boy.

That's funny....just as I was reading this thread, the TV news started talking about the shark! Channel 4's cameras were pointed in the right direction - I guess the locals they happened across didn't have as keen a sense of humour.
