My weanling died :(

Postby Mood Swings » Mon Oct 15, 2007 4:40 pm

Sadly my very handsome 8 month old colt "Ralphie" died this morning

I have never had to deal with the loss of one of my own horses. This has been one of the most emotional days I've ever had. He was so special and had endured so much in his young life. I am heartbroken :(

RIP Ralphie, I'll miss you.

Here are a few pics of him as a precocious younster.

What happened? He looks so healthy and lively in the pictures. What a heartbreak.

What a shame...condolences to you. It is so hard to lose any horse, but triplely so when they are so young and precious.

Sorry Mood! It's always so hard to lose one. I've been around horses my whole life and even the ones you dont get attached to make you wonder "what if"...
Don't be so humble - you are not that great.
