Full page ad in the current Bloodhorse about Kissin Kris and Lost Soldier going to Kentucky.

Knew it the minute the sale was announced back in May, don't know why Arnold made the comment about not knowing if he would leave them in Florida.

Now, the question is, do they leave his stud fee at the $7,500 it is now (which is the same fee Arch is getting and is Kris' only real competition for those mares).

If it were me, I'd wait to see what Claiborne sets Arch at for next year. If Arch goes up based on Prince Arch and Kitten's Joy, leave Kris at $7,500. If Arch stays at $7,500, I'd drop Kris back down to $5,000 for his first year in KY, see how he's received and bump it back up during the second year with a discount for mares who bred in the first.

The thing that works in Kris' favour is the perception that Arch is only throwing strong grass horses ... Kris is getting dirt.
